Where to send it

Email your notice to support@flybywire.se. You can write in English or Swedish.

  • Spam, phishing, malware, attacks or mining coming from an app on Koru hosting: use our abuse contact instead.
  • Authorities with a removal order: see Removal order (EU 2021/784) below. For other matters, see Contacts for authorities and users.

Removal order (EU 2021/784)

For the authorities of the EU member states. Removal orders under Regulation (EU) 2021/784 on terrorist content online, and orders from the Swedish Police Authority (Polismyndigheten) under Lag (2026:1235) om avlägsnande av rekryteringsinnehåll online, go to our contact point for removal orders: email them to removal-orders@flybywire.se, or send them with the form below. Orders, and the exchanges about them, can be in Swedish or English.

Either way, the order reaches us by email at once. We remove the content or disable access to it as soon as possible, and at the latest within one hour of receiving the order, and we tell you when we did. Contacts for authorities and users says what we keep and when we tell the customer.

If you have the order as a document, also email it to removal-orders@flybywire.se, with its reference in the subject.

What a notice must contain

For us to be able to act on it, a notice must contain:

  1. Where the content is. Its exact address: the full URL, or URLs. For a server on Koru hosting, its IP address and port, and the date and time you saw the content. For Koru Cloud, a link to the board or the card.
  2. Why it is illegal. A clear explanation of why you consider the content illegal: if you can, which law it breaks, and in which country.
  3. Who you are. Your name and email address. You may leave them out if your notice is about child sexual abuse material.
  4. Your statement. A statement that you believe, in good faith, that the information and claims in your notice are accurate and complete.

A notice to copy

Notice of illegal content (Digital Services Act, Article 16)

Where the content is (the exact URLs, or the server's address and port, with the date and time I saw it):

Why I consider it illegal (which law, in which country):

My name:
My email address:

I believe in good faith that the information and claims in this notice are accurate and complete.

What happens next

  • We confirm by email that we received your notice.
  • A person looks at it promptly, carefully and objectively. We do not decide notices with automated tools.
  • We cannot change content inside our customers’ apps, so we usually pass your notice to the customer who runs the app and ask them to act. If the customer does not act in time on content that is illegal, or if the matter is serious or urgent, we disable the app.
  • We tell you what we decided, and how you can challenge the decision.
  • We report child sexual abuse material, and threats to someone’s life or safety, to the police.

Your details

We use your name and email address only to handle your notice. We do not give them to the customer whose content you reported unless that is strictly necessary to handle the notice, for example for some claims about intellectual property, and then we tell you before we do. Privacy for Koru hosting says how long we keep them.

Misuse

Do not send notices you know to be unfounded. We may stop handling notices from someone who often sends notices that are clearly unfounded.
